"Health in the Newark Metropolitan Area: Being
Well in the Midst of Opportunities & Challenges
"

The Cornwall Center's annual conference explored the various dimensions, opportunities, and challenges, for maintaining good health and healthy lifestyles in the Newark Metropolitan area. The conference examined: 1) strategies, opportunities, and challenges for maintaining good health from an individual, community, and public institutions, 2) health status and health issues in the Newark Metropolitan area, and, 3) health care system organization and responses to improve health outcomes in the region. The day concluded with a “Where do we go from here?” session to share ideas and discuss ways everyone can work together to improve health status in the Newark Metropolitan area.
