Name: Kelly D. Robinson, Ph.D. Kelly Robinson joined the Cornwall Center as a Senior Researcher in 2001. Previously, he served as an economist with the Research and National Technical Assistance Division of the U. S. Economic Development Administration in Washington, DC. Before that, he taught in the Public Policy Department at Rutgers’ New Brunswick campus. He received his Ph.D. in urban studies and planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1991, and has a Masters degree in geography from Boston University. His specialty is regional economic development, and much of his research has focused on the relationship between economic development and environmental policy. Most recently, he has been examining problems associated with securitizing revolving loan funds for economic development.
