In her role as Associate Program Manager, Chanel Donaldson primarily works on the Newark City of Learning Collaborative (NCLC) initiative managing the College Readiness and Success Learning Team, made up of representatives from approximately 30 pre-college programs from across the city, and implementing a citywide college knowledge campaign. Ms. Donaldson also oversees communications for both the Cornwall Center and the NCLC, coordinating and collaborating with colleagues in terms of social media and web presence and the production and dissemination of biweekly newsletters. Additionally, Ms. Donaldson works closely with the director and other staff in producing various articles and reports relevant to national and local policy or urban policy issues.
Prior to joining the Cornwall Center, Ms. Donaldson worked as a research assistant in education at New York University and in transportation at the Rutgers University Bloustein School. Ms. Donaldson holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology from the Steinhardt School at New York University.
