Pooja Gupta currently works as a Program Associate at the Joseph C. Cornwall Center for Metropolitan Studies at Rutgers University-Newark. She works with the Newark City of Learning Collaborative, a collective impact initiative working to increase the population of Newark residents with postsecondary degrees, certificates, and high-quality credentials from 17% to 25% by 2025. Her work with the NCLC focuses on working with partners, conducting research, and analyzing data, along with assisting with program implementation.
Prior to this position, she served as a Student and Academic Services Assistant at Rutgers University-Newark, School of Public Affairs and Administration, where she assisted with day-to-day administration. Beyond that, Pooja has more than 7 years of experience working in immigration and New York City government. She completed her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Economics at Temple University and her Master's in Public Administration at Rutgers University-Newark, School of Public Affairs and Administration.
